a.Kitchen is situated on the street level of the AKA Rittenhouse Square hotel and faces onto the vibrant 18th Street scene. In warm weather, the restaurant opens its storefront completely to the sidewalk, adding comfortable outdoor seating to merge interior and exterior. Within, its interior is an understated play of white oak, patinated steel, Italian blown-glass sconces, mirror, and Vermont marble comprising a dining room, wine and coffee bar. Visible from the sidewalk, a 12-seat dining bar surrounding the open kitchen is an integral part of the dining room experience.
