Martin Lawrence Gallery is an art gallery located in the heart of SoHo’s Historic Landmarks district. An undulating plaster wall mediates the existing cast iron columns, allowing for a clear viewing and an intuitive circular path through the exhibitions. Several private viewing rooms and offices are located at the perimeter of the gallery space. A series of exhibition wall panels are set in white powder coated steel frames and held away from the walls and floor to retain the perception of a larger space. White oak floors stretch from the restored landmarked façade to the back, while a new stair provides access to a cellar art annex.
